Formatting large Excel spreadsheets can be tedious. One of the first formatting tasks is usually sizing columns and rows.

There are a few easy ways to do this:

1. Place your cursor on the border line between two columns or rows. The cursor will turn into horizontal arrows. DOUBLE click to automatically size the row or column.

2. Click any cell in the spreadsheet and press CTRL+A to select all content. Click the Format button on the toolbar, then select AutoFit Row Height, or AutoFit Column Width.

3. For you keyboard shortcut junkies, click any cell in the spreadsheet and press CTRL+A to select all content.

Press ALT + H + O + I to autofit columns

Press ALT + H + O + A to autofit rows
